How to report a smell
1. Report to Mid Devon Environmental Health
Affected residents can use nuisance diary sheets so officers can compare reports properly and investigate patterns. You can contact the council for help and guidance in completing these.

You can find information on the Mid Devon nuisance smell webpage.
You can also contact your local councillor or Mid Devon’s offices by email to Health@middevon.gov.uk or by phoning the contact centre during opening hours.
2. Report to South West Water
If you wish to report the issue to South West Water, use their formal reporting route so that the concern is properly logged, tracked and reviewed.
